Description
Laman Tamara is a Malay village home that was built in the 1960's. Its form and design are typical of that in tropical climate. Much of its original design had been retained to offer a unique experience to our guests.
An experience to live in an old world charm, while at same time within the confine of today lifestyle features.
Features such as swimming pool, wifi, retro-designed bedrooms and bathrooms are some features highlighted in this villa.
Internally, we have created a new 800 square feet dining/open kitchen overlooking panoramic view of the pool, pond and the forest beyond. The dining room features 2 set of 8seater dining table.
All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned, complete with fresh pillows, sheets, and decor. Bedrooms are equipped with queen size beds and sofa beds in two of the bedrooms.
Externally, we feature a 20’x 10’ swimming pool (4feet deep). The pool deck comes with a pool chair and an umbrella.
The Fishing Pond, once a paddy field has a natural spring water arising as well as a stream running behind it. A new bridge, a pavilion and a boat deck have since been added.
Laman is the Malay word for garden. Many new plants, fruit trees, decorative trees, and shrubs have been planted to blend seamlessly with the existing garden in creating a luscious and cooling environment. At the same time we have also added new features to the garden such badminton court, a barbecue pit, and a bicycle shed.
Laman Tamara can accomodate a maximum number of 15 guests at any one time (not including infants 3yrs or below).
We try to maintain this number of guests so that we can ensure our guests full enjoyment of the facilities and services.
If your group is more than 15 people, just let us know in advance so that we can provide additional accommodation in our second home within the same compound.
